"Redefining Literacy for a New Century", David Warlick began the dialog as our opening
keynote speaker in November 2004. In 2005, he returns to New Hampshire, both virtually and face-to-face to
continue and support the discussion modeling emerging technologies.

Join NH educators in reading & discussing via a blog David Warlick's
"Raw Materials for the Mind". David will be hosting and participating in our NH blog!

David comes to NH for the week of the 25th to conduct interactive 3-hour workshops hosted by the
LESCN centers.

Winter 2005/2006:
Collaborate with a cohort group to develop a NH wiki focusing on Information Literacy strategies
across disciplines and grade levels.

teaching and learning challenges. Then attend her keynote and concurrent sessions on Wednesday at CMTC.

Madalaine Pugliese joins us at CMTC as one of our distinguished speakers. She presents her database of
adaptive/assistive technologies, her process called STAGES, and the tools she has developed to effectively
select the right solution!

November 2005:
Learn how a list that Madalaine began over 20 years ago has developed into a process and set of tools
to inform special educators selecting adaptive/assistive learning solutions.

March 2006:
NHSTE and SERESC again host a day devoted to learning about adaptive/ assistive technology
solutions and partnerships.

Summer 2006:
NHSTE and SERESC host a 3-day series to certify district teams in the use of all the STAGES
tools and techniques.
