| Overview |
It is a challenge for most to figure out all of the opportunities that the Christa McAuliffe Technology Conference (CMTC)
has to offer and then use these resources to your best personal advantage. To assist CMTC rookies and veteran attendees alike,
we are excited to announce the addition of an Online Daily Planner to the CMTC 2012 website.
The online Daily Planner lets you create your own personal agenda for each day by searching
or browsing the presenter database for concurrent sessions.
If you see a session you would like to attend ~ add it to your "conference shopping cart" and you have begun the
process of planning your perfect day at CMTC. Repeat the process so that you have a first, second, and even third
choice for each concurrent session!
Once you have completed your planning for the day, print your agenda, and you are ready to go!
If you'd like to make changes to your schedule later, you can save your selections then pick up
where you left off on another day, or from a different computer.

| How to use the conference planner |
- Select the tab for the day you'd like to plan in the lower-right section of the page.
- Use the custom search form or Quick Search in the lower-left section to find sessions on the day you selected.
- Click the Browse tab or a time-block tab to list all sessions for the selected day or time.
- Full descriptions of sessions that you search or browse will appear in the top section of the page.
- To add a session to your schedule, click the "Add [session-number]" link to the left of the session description.
- To remove a session, click the session name in the schedule, then click the "Remove [session-number]" link to the left of the session description.
- Click "Printer-friendly" (to the right of the day tabs) to show the current day's schedule in a separate window or tab for printing.
- To save your selections to modify or print later, click the "Save" link at the top of the page, then enter
your email address and make up a password.
- To load selections your saved selections, click the "Load" link at the top of the page, then enter
your email address and the password you selected when you saved.
Notes:
- Your web browser must be configured to accept cookies to use the conference planner.
- If you don't save your schedule, your choices will be lost when you close your browser.
- Click and drag the borders between the different sections of the page to make better use of your screen space.
- You may select up to 3 sessions per time block.
- Depending on your screen size, you may have to scroll down the schedule to see the sessions you have added.
- If you select a new day for the planner, sessions that you have already added will still be there when you return to the day you were working on.

Unlike the main conference Search page, the conference planner search form only finds concurrent
sessions (no PSDC's) on the current day you are planning. As a result, some of the Quick Search may not find any sessions
for one or more days.
