Apple released the iPad in April and it quickly caught the attention of the education community. The iPad is a revolutionary new device for browsing the web, teaching reading and language arts, addressing ESL needs, providing remediation instruction, watching videos and movies, listening to educational podcasts, reading e-books, delivering education to a blind student, and much more. iPad's Multi-Touch screen lets students physically interact with applications and content. This session demonstrates the iPad and discuss it's application in the education market. A few iPads will be passed around the room so attendees can handle the product during the presentation.
