How can I increase those writing scores? How do I create successful writing sessions for the students? How can writing be more fun? Easy, come to this session and you learn why our students love to write. As a part of the recent American Recovery and Reinvestment Act Technology grant awards, Bartlett Elementary received 30 NEO2 AlphaSmarts. These little word processors are great for our K-4 students as they fit their fingers, are easily transportable (in fact you could drop them on the floor and they will keep going), and have a fun beaming capability so students can share and collaborate. Although we use these with our younger grades, the systems have been used all the way into high school. In this session, learn how to turn them on, save files, transfer files quick as a flash, and share out an assignment. The cool thing about the NEOs is that you can differentiate for your students by its capability to share out documents. See how this can be a great tool to meet the needs of each of your students.
