If you've said yes to either question - then this session is for you! Come and see the software program "Blackboard 9" in action and learn about how Hollis Upper Elementary School turned a disaster (school closed for 6 days before the beginning of the year!) into a fun experience for its learners and its staff. During this session you learn about the Blackboard software and its features along with lesson plan ideas, discussion board techniques, online websites to capture any students interests, and its ease of use. Blackboard software is used in over 80% of higher education facilities and introducing it in the K-12 system is a great way to help students transition to a blended learning model. Our presenter team of three outlines the effects of the blended approach on their professional development, their student's reactions, and the behind the scenes setup to make everything successful. |
